Purpose
Dreams Alive is committed to providing a coaching environment that is safe, respectful, and affirming. This policy defines behaviour that is not tolerated and explains how such situations are handled.
Safety, dignity, and mutual respect are essential to the coaching relationship.
Scope
This policy applies to all interactions with Dreams Alive, including:
● Coaching sessions
● Email and written communication
● Consultations and inquiries
● Any other form of contact related to services
Zero Tolerance for Harassment
Dreams Alive has zero tolerance for harassment, abusive behaviour, or discrimination.
Coaching is a professional relationship. Behaviour that undermines safety or respect is not acceptable under any circumstances.
Unacceptable Behaviour
Harassment or abusive behaviour includes, but is not limited to:
● Threatening, intimidating, or aggressive behaviour
● Discriminatory language related to gender, sexuality, race, disability, or identity
● Sexual harassment or inappropriate sexual comments
● Demeaning, insulting, or belittling language
● Repeated boundary violations after being clearly addressed
● Excessive, hostile, or coercive communication
● Attempts to manipulate, pressure, or intimidate
Intent is not required for behaviour to be considered harmful.
Response to Harassment or Abuse
If harassment or abusive behaviour occurs, Dreams Alive may take any of the following actions:
● Set immediate and firm boundaries
● Pause or terminate a session
● End the coaching relationship immediately
● Refuse future services
These actions may occur without warning if safety or wellbeing is at risk.
Refunds & Termination
● Termination due to harassment or abusive behaviour does not entitle the client to a refund
● This applies to single sessions and all coaching packages
● Any unused sessions are forfeited
This policy overrides refund considerations in cases of harassment or abuse.
Reporting & Documentation
● Incidents may be documented internally for safety and record-keeping
● No further engagement is required once services are terminated under this policy
