About Us

A little about me

Hi, I’m Peter.

Dreams Alive grew from a simple belief:

People are not problems to be fixed.

Over the years, I’ve become increasingly interested in the spaces where identity, self-trust, belonging, and personal growth intersect.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable individuals who feel caught between who they are and who they’ve learned to be. They are often carrying more than others realize while quietly questioning what comes next.

My approach is grounded in curiosity, reflection, and honest conversation. I believe meaningful change happens when people are given space to hear themselves clearly, rather than being told who they should become.

As someone who has navigated significant life transitions, questions of identity, and the challenge of building a life that feels authentic rather than performative, I understand how powerful it can be to reconnect with parts of yourself that have gone quiet.

That understanding is at the heart of Dreams Alive.

Why I created Dreams Alive

Dreams Alive began with a question:

What if being yourself is all it takes?

Like many people, I spent years learning how to meet expectations, take on responsibility, and keep moving forward. Yet there were times when I felt disconnected from myself — caught between who I was and who I thought I needed to be.

Over time, I noticed that many thoughtful, capable people were carrying a similar tension. They appeared to be doing everything right, yet quietly struggled with questions of identity, belonging, self-trust, and authenticity.

Dreams Alive was created to offer a different kind of space: one rooted in curiosity rather than judgment, reflection rather than performance, and honest conversation rather than fixing.

A space where people can slow down long enough to hear themselves again.

A different kind of coaching

Coaching with me is conversation-based and reflective. We slow things down enough to notice what’s actually happening beneath the surface — the patterns, tensions, instincts, and emotional habits that often get drowned out by obligation, momentum, or self-criticism.

I don’t push insight or force outcomes. Instead, we work with curiosity, honesty, and grounded reflection, allowing clarity to emerge in a way that feels sustainable and emotionally safe.

This isn’t about motivation or productivity. It’s about creating a healthier relationship with yourself while navigating change, uncertainty, or emotional overwhelm.

Why this work matters to me

I work with people who feel caught between who they are and who they’ve learned to be because I understand how quiet that tension can become when it’s ignored — and how powerful it can be when it’s finally given space.

I believe many people are carrying far more pressure, self-monitoring, and emotional exhaustion than others realize. Often while still trying to appear “fine.”

This work exists to create space for reconnection, emotional breathing room, and honest reflection without shame, performance, or the expectation to become someone else.

Sometimes the work begins with a simple realization:

“I want to feel like myself again.”

Who I work best with

This work tends to resonate with people who are:

  • Thoughtful, reflective, and emotionally self-aware
  • Navigating stress, transition, burnout, or self-questioning
  • Feeling disconnected from themselves despite “doing things right”
  • Tired of performing stability while struggling internally
  • Looking for honest support without pressure, fixing, or judgment
  • 2SLGBTQ+ individuals looking for an affirming space to explore identity, self-trust, belonging, and reconnection

This coaching is not crisis support or therapy, and it’s not about quick solutions. It’s a space for exploration, clarity, and grounded forward movement.

Based in Victoria, BC, I work with clients locally and online across Canada.
