Policy – Refund Policy

Purpose
This policy outlines when refunds are available for Dreams Alive coaching services. It is designed to set clear expectations while respecting both client commitment and the sustainability of the coaching practice.

Scope
This policy applies to all 1:1 coaching services, including:
● Single coaching sessions
● 6-Month, 12-Month, and 18-Month coaching packages
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, this policy governs all purchases.

Single Sessions
● Single-session purchases are non-refundable once scheduled
● Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are counted as used
● No refunds or credits are provided for late cancellations or no-shows

Coaching Packages
● Unused sessions are refundable within the first 30 days of purchase
● Refunds apply only to unused sessions
● After 30 days, coaching packages are non-refundable

How Refunds Are Calculated
● Refunds are calculated based on the standard single-session rate, not the discounted package rate
● Sessions that have already occurred, were missed, or were cancelled late are excluded from refund eligibility

No-Show Policy
● A no-show is defined as failing to attend a scheduled session without prior notice
● No-show sessions are counted as used
● No-show sessions are not refundable or creditable

Rescheduling vs. Refunds
● Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice
● Rescheduling does not make a session eligible for a refund

Payment Methods

● Accepted payment methods include:
○ Credit card
○ E-transfer
○ Stripe payment links
● Refunds are issued using the original payment method whenever possible

Exceptions
● Refund exceptions may be considered at the coach’s discretion in cases of:
○ Medical emergencies
○ Family emergencies
○ Extraordinary, unforeseen circumstances
● Exceptions are not guaranteed and must be requested explicitly

Relationship to Other Policies
This refund policy works alongside:
● Pricing & Packages
● Scheduling Policy
● Onboarding Policy
● Sliding Scale Policy (if applicable)
If policies conflict, written policies take precedence.
